FAQs
Spiral-bound printing uses a continuous coil of plastic looping through a row of punched holes at the edge of the printed piece. Depending on how the project is designed, the binding can be on the left or top edge of the project. Spiral-bound coils are available in different colors and sizes.
We can print spiral and wire-o orders with 8 - 800 pages, which must be in 2-page increments.
You must leave extra space for the hole drilling on the binding side of your Spiral or Wire-O booklet. Set your binding-side margins to 7/8".
Spiral-bound book printing is great for manuals, directories, annual reports, calendars, and many other types of products. Spiral binding can be up to 2 3⁄4" "thick.
After proof approval, you will receive your spiral-bound book in 3 to 4 business days. You can request rush production and shipping to receive your book earlier.
Spiral bindings pair well with thick paper, stock, and larger paper counts, as the coils' density and bending allow the paper to flip quickly.

Resolution
PrintingCenterUSA recommends that the resolution of your images and document be 300 dpi or more.
Bleeds
Bleed is an extra 1/8” of image that extends beyond the trim area of your printed piece. The project is printed on an oversized sheet that is cut down to size with the appearance that the image is “bleeding” off the edge of the paper.
